Project C03
We will explore Josephson-junction arrays of different geometry and establish direct evidence for spin-orbit-induced spontaneous supercurrents and their signatures in DC and AC transport. We will apply local magnetic imaging with the scanning SQUID method at Bar-Ilan to obtain direct images of the distribution of the spontaneous supercurrents in the arrays. At Regensburg, we will employ DC transport experi¬ments, as well as measure¬ments of the vortex inductance, to characterize the vortex-vortex interactions.
